Our Director
Catherine Robertson, is a teacher, performer and conductor who recently moved to Meaford from Wasaga Beach where she lived for 25 years. She has raised 4 children, and now helps with her 3 young grandchildren, 2 of which live with her and her husband, Don. Some of you will know Don who is the retail manager/butcher at Black Angus meats on Hwy 26. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree (voice performance) from University of Western Ontario, an Associate of Music degree (voice performance) from the Western Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Education degree (Junior /intermediate music specialist) from York University. Catherine is an occasional teacher in the Bluewater District School Board, and is director of Harmony North a Sweet Adelines chorus in Collingwood. She has just completed a 22 year term as Director of Music at Central United church in Barrie. She is delighted to be doing some music work in her new home town with the Goldenaires!
