Our 50th Anniversary Concert - KUDOS
From our Director:
Thanks to one and all!
Each one of you should be so proud of your work that brought us to the performance yesterday. Proof that diligent work and attention to detail, combined with a willingness to learn new things can bring incredible results. I am so proud of all of you!
It was so good to have Pauline with us- she did it!
All the soloists did such a great job!
Jeanette, be prepared that bridge over troubled water will surely be sung again many more times!
the large group for the finale looked and sounded fantastic!
( hopefully some new members will come from this event)
The comments from the audience were abundant and the same things were repeated over and over
- the program- loved the choice of music
-the Bach- incredible because they knew it was difficult and it was so well done
-my solo- they loved the quality of voice and choice of song
-bridge over troubled water!- well done Jeanette!
- the constant improvement of the singing- you keep getting better and better!
Our Mayor was positively gushing about how well the group sounded and the choice of music- so varied and interesting. Shirley Keaveny as well.

FROM JEANETTE:
Give ourselves a big pat on the back! The audience loved our songs, they were engaged right from the beginning and we brought the house down – and they demanded “more”! And we delivered. Many thanks to all involved, but especially to Catherine who put together a great program, saw the potential in us all and helped us realize that potential. We are more than we think we are. I am proud of us all.
